Too much beetroot!!!

I think I went overboard with the beet root... my chop looks like this



Gonna get more greens to blitz up and mix in so its less... purple oops

Jokes aside, is this still bird safe? They don't really eat the veg but I'm guessing their poo would be stained?

Yes! All the other veg have been dyed this dark purply colour. The birds seem okay with digging around it for seed though not wasted phew!

Shouldnt be a problem. You can chop extra of the other ingredients to add to it.

It will be fine. I have made beet chop before too. No matter what you add it will stay a purple/pink color. If your guy flings his chop though watch what it lands on.

But beets are sooooo delicious! lol, I did this with chard last week. A whole pink batch. Good thing the wall behind the birdcage is navy blue!
