I hope all goes smoothly
He is still hanging out in his carrier with the door open.. he hasn't wanted to come out yet but hes finally eating! I am a little disappointed because I found out he has been eating pellets. When we talked originally she said they weaned onto fresh food! But at least she was doing a combo of fresh and pellets so he isnt only eating the pellets. Now I just have to wean him off of those!

Just got him in his cage finally! I was able to hold him at the breeders house but i havent picked him up at home yet. He took a few slivers of almond out of my hand so far! I cant wait to earn his trust and build a bond. One almond sliver at a time haha

What a sweet face in that second photo you posted! Congratulations and glad he is home. Also, that dish looks AMAZING!
Still not stepping up for me but he has eaten 2 apple slices out of my hand and a few almond slivers! Yesterday he was fluffing up and showing aggression whenever we just walked in the room, today he isnt so quick to fluff up haha I know it is going to be a journey to gain his trust, more so than any of my other birds! I'm trying to give him space and keep him comfortable. The cage has been open all day but he hasn't come out. I also have his stand next to the cage just in case it peaks his interest.
