To hand feed or not to hand feed

MyB&G macaws have 2 fertile eggs (due to hatch within the next 2 weeks) dede(the girl) she was hand raised wrong and abused the top beak and bottom don’t lineup at all is she going to be able to properly feed her baby’s???

I would definitely try to allow the mom and dad to feed. You will end up with a much healthier baby and one that will be quite larger. You just need to handle the baby during the feeding process.

Can you post a pic of the mom's beak?

I totally agree; when I was hand feeding there was a HUGE difference in the babies that stayed with the parents, particularly in the first two weeks. Besides which feeding day one babies around the clock every 2 hours is not an easy task and to have the parents do that is far better for all involved :)
