Is the bird sick? Here, you would only give antibiotics to a sick bird.

None.
Just a vet visit while they are in quarantine and run some tests.
The vet will tell you if the bird is healthy or not.

I've never heard of medicine needed for quarantine. Just time. How much time is debatable. I heard 2 weeks to a month or even longer. I hope someone can give more insight on quarantine as my knowledge of is limited :)

Just to add to this statement. A vet visit during quarantine is definitely something I would advise. Running tests is great too but the reason for quarantine is because birds often hid illnesses and having tests done will not rule out all illnesses. So just because a vet assumes a bird is healthy doesn't always mean they are sadly. This is why quarantine is important.

Why a bird is quarantined when you first bring it home is partly because a new environment can be stressful and if bird is carrying some sort of infectious illnesses hopefully it will will come out during quarantine because of that stress. That said it may not. But quarantine is definitely a worthwhile endeavor because while not 100percent reliable, it is better than nothing and can potentially save your other birds from infectious illness. I hope this helps :)
