I have a very special female baby in my latest clutch, she's looking like a mix of three mutations. Whiteface Pied & pearl, but she also has lutino balding syndrome. This shall be moms last clutch for a long while; possibly for the duration of her life, but she's only three years of age soo...

Anyway, dad is a pied and mom is a Whiteface Pearl Pied.

idk what the balding is from but I'm wondering if she's lutino too. I need to take a better look @ her eyes.

Any idea on that would be appreciated.

I'm an adult if any of you remember me, btw - in a wheelchair.

I would keep her if it was feasible but my mom is probably going to sell her.

If baby looks like mom, then we do not know at this point in time if baby is male or female.

If baby was a visual lutino, then "she" would be white with possibly faint pearl markings that may not be able to be seen under normal lighting.

If split lutino, then "he" would have picked up the lutino gene from dad.

Dominant silver and fallow may also appear with balding patches, and pearl may increase the balding effect. It may be possible for the bald area to show up without these mutations in effect.
