 Depending where I go on the Internet I see this spelled multiple ways on the alleged expert sites!

What is the right spelling? Is it

Elenora
Eleanora
Eleonora

I guess it's a plain old Sulphur Crested Cockatoo!:D

This is the one that put me over the edge! Look at the caption under the picture then look to article on right. I find these type articles all over the net sometimes with all three spellings in same article.

Joe, I'm not sure either. I've seen it spelled all different sort of ways.

The second spelling looks correct to me, but like with so many names there can be multiple spellings.

I would go with the scientific name Eleonora which I found common in most sites. When the articles got into talking about them with a common name is where I saw the most difference.

Yep, have to be careful what you read on the internet.

Eleonora is correct. I rarely see it spelled correctly, but that is the proper name & spelling. :) they are also known as the medium sulfur crested cockatoo.

See: Lexicon of Parrots #4 on this list.
