I posted a video in the sandbox, but I wanna post here too. For the last few days I have had my friends lovely birds staying with me. It´s been so fun and I´m enjoying having them over. We still have a couple more days together.
This was the day they came, in the afternoon;

I have a CUTE picture of Adélie being reunited with her full sister (from the same clutch), I will go use my phone to post it!!!

It´s been 9.5 months
I had them out again with each other today. They don´t hate each other so that´s great!

Yeah I was trying to make a festive one but this time Canva was being funny so I gave up for now as we are going out for a super cheesy dinner which needs my full attention

The three in the travel cages are my friends birds. She has a bonded pair in the black cage, and Saatchi in the blue square cage. She is one of the chicks I raised at Christmas last year, so Adelies clutch sister

Just like people siblings. One of my brothers and myself do good talk a lot etc for about 2-2.5 days then we are at each other's throats and arguing about everything.

Not directly related, but I do find it really cute how lovebirds do the quick "wing flick", as well as how they hold their wings up when they are "in the mood", almost like a little aeroplane

Like @zoo mom says, it really is like human siblings. A quick catchup then it's immediately back to bickering!
