As fall has arrived or rather here in Israel, winter, haha, the birds are beginning their romancing each other. Preening one another and beginning their hop skip and jump dance. Yesterday there were a couple of the wild males, who even though they have been visiting throughout the summer, decided to woo the females in my aviary. Here is one of the males with open wings and chest forward , a typical male mating gesture or pose to attract a mate. I took some film but uploading takes too long.
