:sad6: Blueberry 03-29-2020.jpg I lost my precious Blueberry on 04/01/2021. He died from liver disease that two vets never diagnosed correctly. The grief I feel is almost constant. This is the first time in fifteen years that I am without a precious budgie in my home! I will always love you Blueberry..my Baby Boy! (He was almost six years old when he flew to the Rainbow Bridge).

I’m sooo sorry. I know you’re devastated. I agree with Lady Jane. Make a scrapbook for Blueberry. I think it would help you grieve.

So sorry, I know that quiet. While they can be noisy pests sometimes the silence without them can be overwhelming. Have you considered helping out another budgie find a loving home? I think Blueberry would approve.

I am so sorry for your loss.....that silence is the absolute worst! I completely understand your grief, and I hope that it will start to lessen soon, as you just remember all of the great moments you had together. I agree with @tjc and @camelotshadow; making a scrapbook really helps, and I'm sure Blueberry would approve of you helping out another budgie!

Feel better soon! :sadhug:

Dealing with loss is so hard. Adjusting to life without a loved one is something personal to us because we all do it differently. There´s no right or wrong way, but I will say that talking to someone, or confiding in someone is a good idea. Just so there´s someone who knows how you´re feeling and can be there for you to listen, or just be there.
Keeping you in my thoughts :sadhug:

Well...I have had a single budgie for fifteen years...I think I need some time to figure out if I want a bird in my life. Honestly, after this large vet bill that I had, I am playing catch up. Time will tell...it has been a total of thirteen days without a bird in my life!
