You can use Eco-Forage instead. Ton's in a package.

What about shreaded pine bedding is that safe? Also our guy loves the dried corn and breaks up the cob when he's finished all the corn nuggets is this hazardous too?

It's the cob that is the problem so to be safe it would be better to remove them before he starts chewing on it. :)

Sorry got cobs on the brain, it's just the corn itself ground up.....
Glad you clarified that. :) Corn cob bedding is the leading cause of aspergilosis. No bird store should ever carry it, but, sadly, many do and, what is even more sadder is that they promote it.

Just be careful, too, of poo on the corn. We all know how they love corn and I wouldn't want your little one to also ingest some extras you werent anticipating. :)

Clean, untreated, Mulch is also a fantastic substitute for the corn - from eucalypts and other bird safe trees :D
