This isn't completely new, but it was new to me and I found it quite interesting (it even has an avian tie-in with a surprisingly deep-diving species).
(the CPU on my Windows 11 PC with the latest version of Chrome hits >90%, so don't be surprised if you observe similar -- it's a heavy inefficient site)

Here's a couple photos from when I was in charge of some of the deep sea isopods you find at 2100m. They had to be kept in near-freezing water, excreted slime that would cover the tank, and just all around seemed like terrifying aliens :roflmao:

Very cool; I love scrolling lol. "Headless Chicken Fish are sea cucumbers with wing-like fins that allow them to swim." <--- that's just a beautiful sentence. Also crazy to see how deep elephant seals dive.
