I have been watching several videos from this center. They work with various animals both domestic and wild. Every time I watch and learn something new. I share this one with you. What do you think of her methods?

Rocky is very cute! I think using redirection, and using praise as a reward work well in his case.

Milton is also a prime example of using praise as reward...he actually enjoys praise more than food treats as reward...

Lara Joseph is well known in the avian world and a great trainer. Admire her a lot.

I've been fortunate to meet Lara a few times. She's very sweet. I wish I could get to observe her with Wasabi, but she lives a bit far away. He'd be worlds different with her. He might actually behave.

The little green demon has been fiery lately, inviting me to pet his head, but keeping an eye on me. Uh uh. Nice try, Wasabi. I know that trick.

Wish she would join AA. Guess she has too much to do.

Laura said in one of the videos that she wants to and likes to work with the handicapped parrots, especially blind or deaf birds. I subscribe to her you tube channel so hope to see some of this.
