This afternoon my little friend, Gino, a beautiful violet lovebird, passed away. Only 5 yr. ago I found him in our front yard, today, at the age of 6, he passed away.
He was sick for 2,5 weeks.
I'm grateful to have had him in our lives, we'll never forget him. I'm 47 yr. old crying like a child over a 50 gram parrot, that's how special they are I guess.

Thank you Zara, yes, to us he wasn't a tame bird, he was part of our everyday life. He was a tiny birb but leaves a massive hole in our hearts.
