Hey folks, anyone ever have their Caique scratch like this ? Not injured or behaving differently, not bleeding but still red like it did and I didnt catch it ?

Yes one of mine had a very similar injury after a night fright. She injured it flying into the side wall of her cage.

No.biggie. it cleared up in a couple of days

@Irishj9 I agree, just checking. Any thoughts to Betadine or just keep dry and clean or just let it be ?

A very mild solution of f10 would do no harm . But probably unnecessary

I dont have any f10, I will keep an eye on it. Its already looking better this morning. He just plays so crazy rough. I rearranged his play room to reduce the clumsy whoops missed that landing event.

blaze plays very roughly too. He destroyed his original tail, and now his tail is half old destroyed feathers, half new feathers... and most of those new feathers are already starting to look damaged.
