Tagged in a Forum in which I can't post

Like @Ripshod a couple of years ago, I have been tagged in the Bird Emergency 911 forum. I have insufficient privileges to post their. Is there a way to prevent tagging people in that forum when they can't post there?

I'm glad you messaged me so I could pass it along. I do wish there was a way to prevent that but being able to pm the person that tagged you is helpful for sure.
