I honestly didn't think so either. Especially when I had to wait 24 hours b4 Animal Care Associates had an Avian Vet in the office. Then I misread the invoice and thought they had given him antibiotics in the office. So I was going to wait until the next morning to start the regime. Something told me to call, tho, and make sure.

The Dr told me he didn't think TD was going to make it home when George left his office after the exam. It's amazing how much they can hide their symptoms. One minute they appear perfectly fine and the next they're at death's door. Scary stuff.

Well, let's just say he is eliminating waste now. It looked pretty bad (as in not normal) yesterday, but this morning there was a much more normal pile under his perch. And, this morning he was climbing the cage bars. And, this morning he lunged at George like a Cobra trying to keep from getting picked up and burrito wrapped! Fiesty little guy.

Bebe says way to go TD!!!!!!!! Janet because he has been on antibiotics you may want to ask vet about probiotics starting up soon. Please don’t get OTC ones from pet store they are JMHO worthless.

He is doing incredibly well. I'm uploading another video to YouTube to post here from yesterday. The Dr (vet) called yesterday to check on TD. When I told him he was eating, drinking, climbing, grooming and putting up a heck of a fight (including lunging full force at George with beak at the ready) 3x a day when we medicate him, he acted like he almost didn't believe me. He had used the words "Touch and Go" and "critical" at the exam. Yesterday he told me he hadn't thought TD would even make it home that day. That's how close I came to losing him.
