I have a Green Cheek Conure that I adopted in April of 2024 as a baby. They estimated "he" was born in Feb-March of 2024 so I gave him my younger daughters birthday, March 18th. They said he "felt" like a boy so we stuck with it and named him "Archie". He takes a minute to warm up to new people but wants ALL the attention, in which I have not been able to supply to the little guy and feel terrible. He is just starting to talk and will say his name, he LOVES playing fetch with jingle bells and will even hold them with his foot and rattle it to get your attention and let you know he wants to play. He loves games, such as pushing items off tables, picking small things up and waiting till you look at him, it drop it and "haha find my poop"
. He has such a cute little personality and deserves so much more attention than I can provide now. He loves kids and people who are afraid of birds, he is extremely gentle and LOVES soft items. He loves just hanging out on your shoulder and watching you do chores, loves being a peeping tom in the shower, hopping up stairs one by one after his wings get clipped and hates loud noises. He will yell at you when you turn the sink on, microwave on and if the TV is above a regular hearing volume
only if he's trapped in his cage though, if he's out roaming, he is okay with the noise.
Fun Fact, he has one little nub as a toe! He was born without a nail on one toe but for some reason I never get a discount when getting his nails clipped
I started working over an hour away and am gone from home too long, he gets maybe an hour and a half in of human connection and that's not enough so I'm looking to rehome him with all his accessories. I'm located in San Diego, California and would not mind serious inquiries coming and checking out my set up and seeing if he would be a good fit. I can do facetime, video's, whatever you prefer. I do commute as far as Anaheim regularly, even to Salt Lake City monthly (but cage and accessories would not be included as I fly). I'm honestly willing to travel up to 2 hours for the right fit.
Here are some pictures of the little guy, please feel free to reach out if interested. There will be a reasonable rehoming fee as well.
