For safety reasons, Valentine has had her wings clipped since I got her 8 yrs ago. Her wings are longer now and the other night I was in the kitchen and I heard her calling for me. She had flown to the dining room and then walked over to me to pick her up. ( her cage is in the living room near the front door)
