I have a sun conure and he is in the weaning period. I offer him formula usually at night and he drinks water and tries to eat his pellets and seeds during the day. Tonight he rejected the 10ml and only ate 8ml does this mean he is "weaning more"?
I don´t take action on a bird eating less during one single feed (because it could be a fluke), instead monitor and if it happens multiple times over a couple of days, then I will start to reduce feeds.

Like Zara said monitor for a few days to see if he continues to eat less. Sounds like he is on his way. Also weighing them while weaning to see if they are maintaining their weight is the best way to tell how they are progressing.
