Hello all, I was giving my male budgie meloxicam and gabapentin for leg lameness , but after a shizz of Lupron he dosent seem to be in pain , he was on meloxicam about 2 weeks before the gabapentin, I have stopped the meloxicam and I give gabapentin one daily instead of twice. I’m worried I stoped him to fast and I’m not sure how to proceed from here,
Right now he’s just on the gabapentin 2units before bed

I would schedule a quick re-check vet appointment and clarify stopping the pain meds and when to re-administer the Lupron. In most cases, re check appts are free or cheaper than normal visits.

Meloxicam has no "addictive" qualities, but gabapentin does and a bird should be slowly weaned off of it if he has been on it for, say, more than three days. The longer they have been on it the longer the weaning should be done.

Yes, a bird does suffer withdrawal symptoms - please don't put your bird through that misery.
