When I first got Batman as a 7 weeks old baby in July 2013 as a friend for the age-unknown Thunder Cat, she didn't appreciate him at all. For the next few months she was always bullying him even though he kept following her everywhere like a faithful little dog. She wouldn't even let him sleep on the same perch. Gradually she started allowing him to groom her, although I seldom saw her grooming him back.
Finally by December they have grown very close and I often saw them kissing each other and nestling together. Last night I witnessed Batman feeding Thunder Cat out of his crop for the first time, I felt so proud of him! He is all grown up now and the two of them are behaving like true lovebirds. So here's a very loving happy new year to everybody from Thunder Cat and Batman!
