Congratulations! Great job to you both

Just a tip for you... when your bird flies to you, try not to move- they are generally very good at hitting their landing spot and us moving trying to catch them or help can actually make it harder.
I only mention this as I have known some people who caused their bird to be too uncertain to fly to them by trying to help.
Being a perch that does not move and is predictable is so much easier for them to land on which will build confidence with coming to you.
