My aunt rescued a clutch of abandoned starlings three and a half years ago. Of the four, three were doing fine until recently and one was very prone too over grown brittle beak and nails, It passed away earlier this year. Now one of the others has wat appeared to be thickened scales on the front of its legs. It is more puffed up and is hungrier than the other two. She feeds them soaked chicken dog food with unsweetened applesauce, pasteurized egg, and dissolved tums. Also dried mealworms. Any Ideas?
