Stainless Steel Water Bowls Cracking

I've inspected thousands of Indipets and A&E coop cups and not 1 has been cracked. I understand that this is typically something that would happen over time but if it were a problem I would think I would have seen at least a few arriving that way. Like I said I do occasionally see a ring that wasn't welded correctly or that is cracked or rusting.

im not sure on product type, i /have/had 6 x 600ml (about 12cm or 4 1/2" for you strange folk )that i rotated to give them a good soak in F10.

bought back in February and i have 3 left, all bought at different times, from different places, so no idea if its a particular brand.

Some of them cracked either side and almost collapsed across the rim, so certainly down to forging pressure.
