I buy the bigger birds the serving spoons/ladles and the little ones measuring spoons. They love to clang them together and they last a lifetime.


Also I buy wooden spoons drill a hole in them and hang them in the cage. They are demolished in a short time but then so are the expensive wood toys I buy......

I think the wooden spoons are a great idea. Truely loves to just wave one around and take chomps out of it intermittantly.

i have 4 stainless steel spoons hanging in my alexandrines cage igor loves them. they quickly became one of his favorite toys. and all they cost me was 50 cents at a thrift store .
