they do not look like they would be very comfy on the feet. I use platform perches for Sir Higgins - but he has a wooden one and a wire one i cover in paper towel

I have some. The outside seems like a sandy surface, Im not sure what the base is made out of. Some of my birds have stripped that outer surface off (chewing).They do seem to like sitting on them but they are a little smaller than I would have liked. I like the cajeput "coffee table" style flat perches better.

A friend of mine has a corner platform perch for her grey. She seems to enjoy hanging out on it. Here is a link to one similar, it's wrought iron for easy cleaning.

My brownhead has the corner one
from Foster & Smith. I put his toys there and
he goes there and plays. Then he throws them all
down and we start over. He likes the platform
though.

I have the corner perch similar to the one from F&S except it has slats instead of wire.. Ruby sleeps on it and I have toys hung in the corner and around it and she enjoys playing there.

I have a wooden platform perch in Elvis' cage. He LOVES it! He sits on it when he's playing with his foot toys so he can sit them down with them falling to the bottom of the cage. I wish I could find a bigger one!
