My linnie (female, age 15 months) has a weird spot of missing feathers on top of her left eye. This spot has shown up in the last few days.
She is eating normally and her sound is usual as well.

Is this is a commonly known issue in linnies? I have attached pictures.

What an absolute beauty she is! It looks to me like she either bumped it on a toy and lost the feathers or if she has a cage or flock mate they may have done it.

She is beautiful, I let her know you said that. :)

She is the only bird we have. So, no flock mate. She is clumsy. I hope that is just a bump and not an infection.

Beautiful girl! So no mate to pluck out the feathers and she can't reach those herself. Is she rubbing against any toys, perhaps because she is itchy for some reason? Infection of some kind? When you look closely at the featherless patch is there anything unusual? I think I would watch a few more days and then see the vet.

I would also say rubbing on a toy or perch is likely
