Hi I have an Indian ringneck who chews a lot and I got him this java perch and hes chewed and damaged it. It looks like it has splinters coming from it but I pressed it with my finger and it was fine. Should I remove it and can birds get splinters in thier feet. Thanks

Hopefully by tomorrow he will just chew off the remaining and smooth it out ;) Good instinct to be concerned about injury. If the stick is too sharp or could cut him you may need to rotate perches soon. Start stocking up on your wood chews! IRN love chewing. It is a very healthy and important behaviour to encourage.
