Splayed legs advice needed

The rescue I help with just got 2 3 weeks old budgies with splayed legs. Their foster mom has put splits on to try to correct. I said I would ask for advice. Anything else we should be doing or doing differently? Are they still young enough to correct them?

I think at 3 weeks I certainly wouldn´t give up hope. And if they can´t be completely corrected, I´m sure a big difference will be made.

Remind them that even once the legs look corrected with the splint, to leave it on after that for a little while so they set properly.

I agree with Zara. Splints are the way to go. I am not sure about budgies but with caiques it is easily correct even when they are 5-6 weeks. It take a bit longer the older that they are.
