Maybe someone here can help me out.
Is it normal for a Meyers to occasionally space out to a point they don't/barely acknowledge you?
Our first Meyers was special needs so we thought it was just her doing her thing, thinking real hard about her day. But the Meyers we have now, whom we've had for a year or so has done it two or three times.
She just sits in a neutral position staring at nothing. I can put my finger on her forehead and mover her head around a bit. I can touch her feet and she'll just slowly look down at what I'm doing and slowly move them away.
If I try to get her to step up she doesn't seem to know my hand is even in front of her.
best response I get is to offer her a nutriberry which is still a slow response but she'll eat it...slowly
Normally she's over eager to step up to the point she'll walk off a perch before my hand it under her and she would be very outspoken and probably nip me if i messed with her feet.

Can they sleep with their eyes open? when I finally just move her from the stand she get very cranky with me, then fluffed up, stretched and began acting normal again.

In our senegal we call it "low power mode".
Even one eye will be open and the other kinda closed. PROCESSING.
