Somebody I know down east. That´s so cool they sent you a pic of their bird using the stand! Sure looks like one happy birdy to me!
Stand was 26” high. The parrot and the stand are just gorgeous! John how tall is the stand?
It was $75 to ship down east. You could probably double that to get it across t the border. What would that thing cost to ship? To the US?
Need a dose of reality here. Want.
But that's approximately 2x $75 CAD, right? So it wouldn't be quite as prohibitive as it sounds. And it's certainly not like anything I've seen around here. A truly unique and beautiful piece for sure!It was $75 to ship down east. You could probably double that to get it across t the border.
I like this name - Too Tree Great photo for sales promotionWhat a great little Too Tree!
It's also much larger than I had imagined. I kept thinking about stuck toes...But that's approximately 2x $75 CAD, right? So it wouldn't be quite as prohibitive as it sounds. And it's certainly not like anything I've seen around here. A truly unique and beautiful piece for sure!
Most of it is hardwoods. Apple tree mostly. Just the platforms are soft (Pine). I've taken the corners/edges off so they can't just take a chunk out. The disks are made from a mayday (berry) tree and apple. I own 2 cockatoos. I've been using these woods for years. They're battle tested. They will peel the bark off everything pretty quick but the wood underneath is pretty tough. It's not Java or manzanita but it's pretty tough.Beautiful tree John.
I especially love the stepping stones effects.
I wish my Toos didn't chew through wood like Beaver's. Is this a hard wood ? How much is this tree. Shipping costs are not to unreasonable. I may be interested ordering one if it's a very hard wood . Does it have wheels?
