I know what you mean- one of mine had 7 too and it was amazing how well she did with them all. And both parents were first timers! Sounds like both mom and dad are doing a great job! Keep posting lots of pictures for us!

i never breed any animal before,but i guess i just always figured the babies of each clutch would be relatively the same size....:omg:

just keep wach i have had some babies squshed to death from bigger older siblings but these ae finches so i dont know if it woulnd happen with budgies?

It hasn't been a problem with this lot. Mum and dad have done an awesome job raising them and they're all getting big now. :) I just posted some pics in the photo section.

so many babies at 1 time. How is she doing? is she able to feed them all? Will u be pulling them for handfeeding?

wow they are doing good :D you can put millet stalk in the nestbox to help her out, also gives a little more padding to the box
