I am a worried bird mom, sorry for these questions and posts. My grey male cockatiel has a sneeze fit at least once a day in the past few days. Mostly at night. I checked his nose and eyes and nothing seems to be seriously wrong. How can I help him with the sneezing? :tieln:

Is your house dry? (Like from running a furnace, etc.) That could be the cause of the red nares. You can get a small vaporizer like they put in baby's rooms to add some moisture to the air to see if that helps. Or give him a bath/mist him. Are his sneezes dry? Dry sneezes are normal. Wet sneezes can be a sign of illness.

We do not have a furnace and I would say it isn't dry. I gave him a bath earlier and The few times he sneezed on me it was a little wet.

I'm concerned about the slight discharge & the pinking of the nares. I don't know if this is a get into the vet moment or not....
