Recently in the past day or 2 my cockatiels droppings have been quite smelly, I looked online and a few things said it can be bad like infections and such but they also where mentioning things related to hormones. She has recently laid some eggs (3 at the moment) and has been sitting on them throughout the day and night. She is still chirping away, eating and playing around her cage. It’s just the smell from her droppings. I will be contacting a vet tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or information?

thank you

If she's laying on the eggs and holding her poops, that can contribute to them smelling bad

Ah ok thank you. At this very moment she is laying on her eggs, I’ve recently made some changes to her diet also with more fruit and veggies and it only really started since that.

Sounds like it could be those things combined.
Don´t offer too much fruit, and lean more to exotic fruits if you can. You want fresh foods to be veg heavy :)
