I have hand fed from newly hatched before but this time I gave the parents one of their 2 day old chicks, crop was ok when handing over, the mom fed the chick alot and the crop went down ok but the second time she fed the crop went down nearly all the way but small lumping bits are still in the crop, less than 8 and probably seed, I fed the last two times since and the crop drains ok, nearly returns to normal but the small particals remain, will these go through after a while? and the mom wants the chick back, curently in the incubator they hatched in, I got one small partical out, small and dark colored. anything to wory about? do I continue feeding or hand back to mom, do I flush the rest? I just dont want her to fill the crop with junk, she eats seed and 2 kinds of zupreem pellets mailnly
