My lovebird is laying eggs and starting doing poop that seems to have some small particles inside( which is not undigested food).
Does anybody know what it may be?
Our vet doesn’t know, she’s tested for diseases and the results are negative but she haas fatty liver and since she has chronic egg laying( which we are working to solve), suddenly she started to poop weird and shake her head like something is bothering her.
The doctor said the poop is like this because of the eggs, also the eggs are pushing against her organs causing her body stress.
Not much can be done now as we cannot stress the parrot too much with blood work and we kind of eliminated every major disease she can have.
could this also be because of her recent diet conversion to pellets?
The small particles are mostly green( pellets are brown) but she kind of has these symptoms since fully transitioning to pellets after 2 years of training.
I do not think she has any major health problems and honestly until she doesn’t stop laying eggs, it is very hard to see if she is really sick or the eggs are giving her ahard time and scaring us.
Any advice is appreciated.
