Sleeps on cage

Hi I’m new here. Just wanted to know how many of you have parrots who sleep on the side of the cage.

Not here. What it usually means is the "roosting" spot is not up to the birds desire and wants to roost somewhere else. What is the birds sleeping environment?

His cage is pretty simple. I don’t really have a spot for another perch without him pooping all over one of them.

So you’reJust going to leave it? Of course you have another spot. You’re not trying. Rearrange the whole thing if you have to.

I took your advice and moved one of his toys to add another perch. i hope it helps.
