Singing to paper towel

So should we discourage this or is it innocent? Lately every time he sees a paper towel he runs over to it and starts singing all his favorite songs. It’s adorable but being a former Caique mom it makes me worry about hormonal imbalance issues.
We are very new to teils so am I over thinking it?

The cookie song is his fav and he really puts his whole heart into it

As you held the paper towel up and he responded by singing. He may have seen it as a signal from you that a response was required.
Hard to say without knowing if he is doing anything else new.

One of my male cockatiels will act that same way with anything paper like a newspaper, printer paper, paper towels etc. I dont think it has anything to do with hormones. They just like paper for some reason.
