Pictures Silly Seamus

I realized I only post about Seamus’s medical stuff, so I wanted to make one just about him being himself.

Here he took over the dog bed, because if he wants it he gets it.
(No dogs were in this part of the house during this. When the macaws are out the dogs are safely in their areas of the house/yard.)
Here my daughter decided he needed a “picnic” since he was walking around so much so she made this little set up for him, which he thoroughly enjoyed.


And last but not least I really tried to get a good pic of him using his beak stone, which he does use all the time, but he decided nope, he would rather go down the door to do this for a few mins.

I was missing seeing Seamus and it's great to see these happy, active pictures of him. I hope he continues to improve.

The first picture does look like Sakie.

He is so sweet Lisa. His face just says how happy he is. I'm sure all the soft and cozy feels good on his face. Maybe he would like a big fleece cozy like my guys have?
Does he have anything like that?

He has a soft baby blanket on the floor of his cage he likes to be on. I put in a rope swing a while ago and he refuses to use it. He doesn’t like the movement so I don’t know if he’d use the fleece one...it’s worth a try though.
Hes very much a ground macaw. He loves walking all over the place and cuddling into blankets. He really likes to explore too, he just knows the whole house is for him and everyone better watch their toes.
