I only offer unshelled nuts, so my flock doesn't have a choice. :D

They love shelled ones the most! Brazil, pecan, almond, macadamia, hazelnut, and walnuts are their favorites. None of them like pine nuts at all, which is odd since other birds seem to love them. We go through about 4-5 pounds of nuts a month on average, or about 4 nuts in the shell a day per birds. I wrap them in paper and then they really love them. Double foraging toy...they have to unwrap the paper then break the shell. Paco hates all nuts, so he gets organic raisins wrapped in paper :)
