Don;t go by tails...Looks like hes losing his pearls...So very much leaning toward male. They all can exhibit mixed bahavior sometimes females can be vocal too. Thats an indication not proof...

Losing pearls is a male trait. Plus to me I did get males vibes on my tiel radar...:rofl:

About 2 years He kept a few spots for a long time...not sure of the dates here or exact ages as it was a long time ago.

The mating chirps is ain indication of female, but the pearl loss is indication of male. COnfusing for sure ! But I will still think it's a male ;) You will know for sure in 3-5 months if more pearls fade !
