Hi! I was trying to figure out a good seed mix for my boy. I know seed isn't the best for him, but when I adopted him he has been raised on nothing but seed. I have tried mixing pellets in but he just never wants it. His owner previously was feeding him the Higgins sunburst cockatiel mix, I am wanting to change to something else. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

I use Dr. Harvey’s. I like the finch mix best, all of my flock eats it.
They sell it on Amazon and their website.

Though a parrot let might prefer the budgie mix:

I use the Volkman Avian Science Super Parakeet. It has a good mixture of different seeds, and mine eats everything in it. Neither I nor my p'let like their parrotlet mix, it is almost all safflower seeds.

For pellets, mine likes the Lafeber Parakeet or Roudybush crumbles (or mini) the best. She started eating them on her own one day while out on the play area.
