Dr. March is great. I was going to post Dr Marsh and then saw this post. Yes Dr Marsh is amazing, she has a lot of avian experience and the most wonderful 'cageside' manner. Birds just calm down for her and allow her to examine them. My budgie Mac developed a huge mass literally overnight in Aug 2010 and she saw him, she told me surgery on budgies is risky and if the mass was attached to an organ he coulkdnt be saved and to think about what I wanted to do. 3 days later I was going to schedule the surgery but his skin had actually started to rip so i took him in and she said if she didnt try surgery right away he would not survive long. So she operated on him and he survived, it turned out to be a non malignant huge sebaceous cyst. As her husband said to me "she really knows what she is doing and when you have a small bird under anesthesia you dont have time to consult the manual".
Steve Marsh does all the 'over the counter' trims - nails, beaks and wings and he is great as well, he is the only one I will aloow to trim my birds including my older rescue Blue Head Pionus who had serious beak issues when I got him.
