i dont think anything is scruffier looking then a alexandrine in molt poor igor he has been going thru a really tough molt this year.he looks really ratty and is very grumpy

he just turned 2 in oct so i guess maybe this is his first really full molt. and boy is he grumpy he growls lol

aren't they just the grumpiest moulters? Ceddy's at the tail end of her moult - still loosing a feather here and there and the tail and a couple of flights haven't fully regrown but nowhere near as bad as it was.

She looked terrible for a while too and for much of it she didn't want anything to do with anyone with an unmistakable "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY " attitude! She even lunged at my home help once through the cage bars - Ceddy's not usually cage territorial and she normally likes it when she's talking to her

anne with the mood he is in i dont think kissing that big red beak is a good idea you would end up with some huge lips lol.
its funny with him he lunges at everything but if you stand there talking to him he will start saying be a good boy then lunge lol

thanks courtney i think the worst of it is over now he is looking heaps better now and his tail is growing back, attitude hasnt changed though lol
