That's one cheerful ringneck! He seems happy more than anything!
To stop my birds when they're going nuts is usually by figuring what they want, e.g. out the cage, do some training, eat some fruit or whatever else they scream about!
I like to do something new every day to keep them entertained, and toys! Lots of toys.
My IRN refused to play with toys at first until I shoved treats in every crevice of the toys, now he destroys them!
If he likes millet, you can hide that in places he needs to chew wood to move it out the way, or something similar. works like a charm!
