Scratches at the window

About 3:45 am, I woke up to scratches and flapping at the bedroom window. Went out with a flashlight and found this wet ,half frozen dove. She got sub Q fluids dried off and is resting in a towel nest with a heating pad. I'll check on her when I get home from work.

She didn't make it Further inspection showed a large solid mass in her crop. And her poos was scant and yellow. At least she passed warm and safe.

Thank you for helping her, it is so hard to get them better because as we all know birds are very good at hiding issues
Something can be learned from every experience even the bad ones, all we can do sometimes is store that knowledge and hope it helps with the next time

It was most probably canker,,we have a problem with that in the desert, especially when there's no rain..rain will kill it. We didn' have too much canker this year coz we had a good amount of rain...thank God!
