Scrap basswood

I do woodcarving with basswood, and I end up with a lot of scraps that are too small for a carving but would make good bird toy parts. Mostly odd shaped pieces but if sliced up and drilled they would be great for small to medium birds.
I'm wondering if there would be any interest in this, though. I would really just want the box and shipping cost back, but it would probably cost $6-7 for a smallish box of scraps, not sure if it's worth it when most people can buy pine locally for much cheaper.
So, would anyone be interested in basswood scraps?

Sorry, I keep forgetting to weigh a box of basswood but I think the smaller boxes I use for shipping carvings will hold around 2-3lbs and if so would cost $7+ to ship, if it is worth it to you, I can cut up lots of scraps. Or I can just fill up any size prepaid box.

No rush here, I forgot about this thread already lol. Do you know approx size of the small box? How does it compare to a small flat rate? I know those ship for like $6-$7 alao, depending where you pay for postage.

Yeah if it will fit in the small flat rate thats the best box price. Could try the padded flat rate that might fit more wood as the small box if pretty small.
Anything over a lb by weight priority or parcel is not cheap unless you live in the same state or close.

I'm just quoting postage....I'm not interested as Rio doesn;t chew...unless its fingers..:hehe:

A 9x4x6"box full is a little under 3 lbs. I have enough for 2 boxfulls this size for now (or one larger box).

I hope this is permissible, but I placed an etsy listing in my shop for the basswood. I'm charging a tiny bit to cover the etsy fees, but the shipping is cheaper through etsy so it costs less overall that way.

Basswood Scraps for bird toys

Also, it's a mix of large and small scraps, I'm happy to drill holes and cut up the larger scraps into more usable pieces.
