Scientific reasoning why parrots (at least cockatiels) heat up when happy?

I tried to google is there any known cause for parrots to become incredibly warm when they're happy. Couldn't find any, so does anyone here know?
Pebble my female tiel heats up to probably 43C when I give her some kissies and scritches, and I'm really curious why this happens :D

Just curious, is it when your parrot is on your hand/ skin that it heats up? My cockatiels luke warm toes become really warm from my body heat when I hold her :)

on hand too, i can feel her toes become warm, but since Pebble has become very reluctant to standing on fingers (or people in general), it's usually the skin on her neck i feel getting hot! :roflmao: she usually sits on a perch and just waits for me to come over
