Pictures Scale time bribery

I bribe Aoife into getting on the scale by zeroing it with some chop mix on it. She's 48g! She's gained about 2g since I started weighing. Glad I finally started because I wasn't feeding her quite enough! This mix has some seeds in it too, including her fav, hemp seeds!

she weighs the same as Loki. Although when Penelope was here she was 50g from all the feeding they were doing lol. All my birds just sit on my scale, not a care in the world. It is just a normal food scale, no bowl or anything.

I do, I was giving her a little under a tablespoon of pellets plus whatever dry chop we have. She gets about a full tablespoon of pellets now. And one Nutriberry. I was worried about her getting obese but she's so active.

I don´t weigh or measure out any food. I have a little tiny cup that I use to pour seeds, mainly so they don´t go to waste.
And I just eyeball pellets. I offer plenty of veggies because the birds like to try out for shot put with them.

I don't but I do know she eats, I can see the seed husks at the top. In the morning before I go to work, I put her in her cage and she go straight to the food bowl to eat. When I am at working, 30% chance when I check the cam. she is at her food bowl eating. When I go home and put her on the living room cage, she goes down and eats some more. If I ignore her and she wants out of her cage... she is eating lol.

I basically loosely measure. I use a tablespoon as the scooper, so. I recently got Roudybush crumbles instead of their usual mini pellets. They waste so much, I think the smaller bits will be better. I usually mix in a little Harrisons too, which they gobble right up, it's much smaller than Roudybush.

Mix into what?
I don´t mix pellets and seed mix because the pellets get wasted. I have to throw out and replace seeds daily, or more. So I put pellets in a separate bowl so they can stay in the cage longer, I probably offer about a tablespoon at a time of pellets

Harrisons, it's another pellet brand. It's stupid expensive though, so they don't get very much of it.

Yes, it is dearer for me too. Hagen pellets worked out cheaper for me and sold at my local bird store.

I think I´ll try to weigh everyone tomorrow. I haven´t weighed Aldora in so long and she´s snapped out of the hormonal agressive season and she´s all nice so I might be able to actually weigh her!

The recent weights on everyone else is;

44g Jaime
45g Adelie
46g Nube
49g Lapis
59g Sydney

Aldora was 56 last time I checked her, but was a long time ago.

And no that´s not a typo, Sydney is a chubster

Yea he is. You can really see the difference on the videos with him and Adelie. He is just a larger bird.
His flight skills are impeccable. Aldora is also larger but her flight skills aren´t like his. I can hear the difference. I don´t know why.

Ok I did it, I weighed everyone We have a new lightest and a new heaviest bird...

I´m really happy with how much everyone weighs, especially Jaime.
