Saving a draft

If I'm writing a longer post, is there a way to save a draft if I need to exit the website?

I thought there was but I can't find it I usually type it up in Google Keep and then copy and paste over

Does this icon not work for you? You should be able to save a draft by clicking on that and choosing Save Draft.

I just happened to see the post and I do use the save draft feature from time to time. I use it more to save an empty post if I have started one and it has auto saved it but I don't want to post the content any longer. I just delete the content and save it as blank.

It does auto save the post replies. Then if you want to get rid of it, you can "delete draft". I think they also delete, if you come back, remove all the text and write something new and post it in the same thread.
